We’ve all searched a library or other collection using a traditional keyword search. Typing in a title or a person’s name, you will get a list of items that hopefully match what you’re looking for. But what if you want to do more than search? What if you want to explore what is available? Or ask a very specific question such as, “how did European artists paint the American West during the 1800s?” LUX is an application that allows this exploration and can answer these types of questions. It’s built with linked data and the combination of a document database and triple store. Come learn more about LUX and the technology we’ve used to build it.
