Navigating Workplace Politics, Culture and Strategy
Leadership requires a complex array of skills that allow for navigating through political minefields. This is true of leadership roles regardless of the organization or the level of seniority. The session will touch upon the interrelationships between strategy, politics and culture and provide tools, frameworks and examples in order to provide a foundation for ongoing development in one of the most important areas to get right.
For many IT organizations Strategy becomes the lens of choice, whereas Politics and Culture are given less focus. Join a session where members of the NERCOMP Leadership Ecosystem will describe these lenses and attendees will participate in interactive exercises to help illustrate the impact and interrelation of all of these viewpoints in achieving success within complex institutions. Individual contributors, managers, and all levels of leadership are encouraged to attend.
