Data Analytics and Storytelling

Tuesday, April 01, 2025 | 3:00PM–3:45PM ET | Ballroom A-C (Exhibit Hall)
Session Type: Poster Session
Delivery Format: Poster Session
Managers are obsessed with data. “Show me the numbers!” “What’s our engagement?” “Let’s look at the year-over-year!” But spreadsheets and charts can be confusing if they are not properly evaluated and showcased. Data Analytics and Storytelling investigates how we understand the data we have, discover the data we need, and communicate our findings and goals. By highlighting our past work and engaging participants in collaborative exercises, this session explores the ever-evolving journey of information and shows how reflection on past works can illuminate future processes. Through proper analysis and visual storytelling, we can properly showcase the journey that leads to our conclusions and next steps, create understanding, and elicit passion and creativity.
