It takes a village develop your student workforce. In this presentation, we will explore a comprehensive guide for mentoring student employees in information technology, focusing on fostering teamwork, critical thinking, communication skills, and more. By equipping students with these essential competencies, we aim to prepare them for leadership roles and successful careers post-graduation. We will talk about supervising versus mentoring versus coaching and the importance of experiential learning. This presentation will also allow time for us to share challenges with each other and brainstorm solutions to improving student employee professional development.
