As many institutions move infrastructure and systems to public clouds, they are challenged to keep up with the security of those systems. While many turn to using the provider's native tools, UC Berkeley decided that would not be a sustainable model with their staffing, so they set out to find a way. This talk will cover why they took the approach they did, their adoption process, the choice they made, and some of the hidden surprises they found along the way.
