A New Way to Think About Security Architecture

Thursday, May 02 | 2:30PM–3:15PM CT | Exhibit Hall, First Floor
Session Type: Poster Session
Delivery Format: Poster
The Work From Home (WFH) model has forced security architects to redesign their network security models. Traditional "border" controls are not as effective as before. We show how some well-known standards need to be modified to work in this WFH world. The architecture now has to follow "users must be able to log in to any app from any device from anywhere in the world." WFH presents new challenges to protecting the integrity and privacy of individual and institutional data from unauthorized access or disclosure. This talk describes the challenges of this new world and gives some examples of how to address these new requirements.
