Enterprise Strategies and Planning Necessary to Deliver On-Demand SaaS for Students and Faculty

Thursday, May 17 | 2:00PM–3:00PM | Meeting Room 102
Session Type: Professional Development
Indiana University, in collaboration with the University of Iowa and the Johns Hopkins Medical School, is demonstrating how software as a service can provide a fresh approach to meet the demands of faculty and staff and a mobile student population. No longer restricted by fixed assets, SaaS is now delivering applications on demand directly to the endpoint of choice, making the investment to deliver software more cost-effective and independent of device. By creating an anytime consumption model for software, we're beginning to see the benefit of adopting low-cost application delivery on a wide range of personally owned student devices.
