Community of Practice Session
Why do we still need libraries, anyway? In an era of shrinking budgets and an increasingly virtual research environment, why do libraries still matter? Come to this discussion group to explore the many ways libraries add value to their communities, even when "everything is online"; brainstorm strategies for communicating the value of libraries and research services to different audiences; and meet and network with other library and research professionals who are operating in emerging functional areas or navigating the sea change within a traditional department or service role.
