Session Type: Breakout Session
Delivery Format: Interactive Presentation
Streaming media has become an integral part of learning, both in class and online. Providing a unified solution so users can create and access video content, including recorded lectures, films, and media-rich assignments, makes it easier to share ideas and knowledge. Such an infrastructure requires management, access control, organization, and training and provides a cleaner and friendlier end-user experience, from mobile devices to desktops. Learn how we moved from multiple systems for creation and delivery to a unified solution for media creation and streaming at Brown that's easy to use and delivers what our campus needs.

Outcomes: Identify opportunities for media use in teaching at your university * Understand why and how to create a unified media infrastructure at your university, including implementation and promotion of this service * Understand the value of media as a learning resource
