Union College has been moving toward a digital accessibility policy since 2019. As a small liberal arts college without a position to lead efforts around accessibility, Union College needed to build and layer staff time and effort across a variety of units to provide compliance, services, and resources. Through a standing committee operating as a cross-functional team, we have been able to scaffold accessibility services through a self-help and triage model to meet the needs of our students and faculty.
