From Stressed to Centered

Tuesday, March 28 | 2:00PM–2:45PM ET | Room 552
Session Type: Breakout Session
Delivery Format: Presentation or Panel Session

Living in a constant state of stress is detrimental to our overall well-being—physically, emotionally, and mentally. Together we will learn how to recognize the different ways stress presents itself in the body, in our emotional state, and in our thoughts. Mindfulness is a powerful tool to manage stress and bring about a greater sense of ease and well-being into our daily lives. In this session, we will experience a guided mindfulness practice to release stress and welcome calm. We will learn a variety of mindfulness practices to help calm our nervous system and shift from stress to a more centered and present state. We will explore the benefits of present-moment living and discover how to make small, lasting changes that will help improve our well-being.
