How Wesleyan University Used Data to Accelerate and Simplify Its Shift to the Cloud

Tuesday, March 28 | 2:00PM–2:45PM ET | Room 553
Session Type: Industry Led
Delivery Format: Facilitated Discussion

The student experience is a critical component of not only recruiting students but providing services that lead to a high graduation rate. Data is critical to this experience. With data sources and volumes growing at an exponential rate, data modernization has become a necessity for higher education. Colleges and universities are embracing the cloud, unifying their applications and systems and putting data at the center of their strategies to enrich the experiences of students, faculty, and alumni. In this session, Kevin Kane, associate director of enterprise systems at Wesleyan University, sits down with Trey Rustand, solutions engineer at SnapLogic, for a fireside chat. They will discuss Wesleyan University’s use case for selecting and implementing a unified approach to moving applications and data; important features to look for when selecting a partner; and accelerating and simplifying the shift from legacy systems to the cloud using an iPaaS platform. This session will also include a demo of Automating Student On-Boarding by SnapLogic.
