Student-Centered Data Viz: Building an Online Hub for Students to Find, Analyze, and Visualize Data

Our presentation visualizes the process of building an online data visualization hub with resources for students, by students. It provides multimodal, easy-to-follow tutorials for undergraduates curious about gaining practical skills in storytelling and data visualization. It also shows how others can replicate this site at their own institutions using a similar collaborative, student-centered user design process. Finally, it discusses how students can incorporate web accessibility into this work.
