Bringing a Security Data Lake into View

Data analytics has become a hot topic in many industries including higher education. In order to be competitive, universities need to leverage their data to improve business operations, the student experience, and research. One approach that has become common is the data lake model. While it has primarily focused on learning and administrative system data analytics, this model can also be leveraged for IT security. We'll discuss the concept and how it enables both operations and research. We'll also show research visualizations using augmented reality techniques.
