Webinar | Findings From The 2026 Students and Technology Report

This webinar will highlight key findings from the 2026 EDUCAUSE Students and Technology Report and explore several areas that connect student expectations with institutional strategy: core technology and security services, course experiences (including generative AI), workforce preparation, and student support. We will also share recommendations to help institutions better understand student perspectives and strengthen student success, career readiness, and well-being. Across these areas, the report reveals a consistent theme that we will explore during the session: students are adapting steadily as higher education and the broader technological landscape evolve. They bring practical expectations for how technology should support their learning, approach AI thoughtfully, prioritize work–life balance, and remain generally confident about their careers—while also asking institutions for clearer guidance, more consistent tools, and fewer barriers to getting help and getting work done.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Gain insights into key findings from The 2026 Students and Technology Report
  • Consider student perspectives on course technologies and learning formats
  • Explore how students are using generative AI in their coursework, including key opportunities and challenges
