There are less women in technology now than in the 1980s. Instead of waiting, a dedicated group of IT staff initiated for change. This presentation will road-map how the University of Nebraska-Lincoln took an afternoon workshop on leadership and turned it into a two-day national conference on Women in IT.

Outcomes: Identify what change opportunities are available on their campus * Describe the change initiative and propose the action items to engage organization leadership * Start a roadmap on how to make a change initiative on their campus
