CWRU is developing and implementing small and large scale immersive, augmented reality/mixed reality (AR/MR) educational resources, primarily using the Microsoft HoloLens. Case studies in digital alternatives to cadaver-based anatomy in medical school, interactive dance performances, and physics concepts will be presented and explored with attendees.
Outcomes: Describe how AR/MR expands upon active learning to create dynamic, immersive, collaborative environments * Understand CWRU's process for selecting AR/MR projects and how to effectively plan for their development and implementation * Apply lessons learned from CWRU's experience in developing AR/MR to your institution
