In 2017, a community of practice began focusing on online learning initiatives for Learning Technologies and Libraries staff across the 3 campus locations of the University of Washington. Our participant-driven meetings, with content and goals organically derived from the inclusive and diverse group, generate innovative approaches to online learning and critically analyze existing practices.
Outcomes: Identify communication and engagement methods for collaborating about online learning and select tools for inclusion of remote participants * Recognize the need for open discourse in a centralized community of online teaching and learning practitioners * Evaluate channels of information exchange through lenses of inclusion, diversity, and praxis
