CoAction Lab: Developing Common Standards for Technology Adoption (open to Teaching and Learning Community)

Wednesday, October 31 | 9:00AM–11:30AM MT | Meeting Room 610/612
Session Type: Lounge
Launched in July 2018 by Penn State, the CoAction Learning Lab is a global higher education collaboratory that champions the increase of educational access and the meaningful use of technology in innovative teaching and learning practices through open dialogue and shared resources. The community partners—19 universities and colleges spanning four continents—aim to build an online library of resources that advance technology innovation at the intersection of pedagogy, design, implementation, and learner engagement. The need for an informed set of technology recommendations was surfaced in this work. In the spirit of CoAction, participants in this teaching and learning lounge session will collaboratively blueprint an openly licensed resource that aids decision makers in effectively selecting and implementing technologies that advance best practices in teaching and learning.
