Ransomware, phishing, and compromised business email threaten institutional information and resources. It's difficult to cut through the FUD (fear, uncertainty, and doubt) to understand current risks and develop response strategies. This session will provide participants with a better understanding of current cyberthreats and how they relate to higher education.

Outcomes: Direct campus-based intrusion prevention and detection activities with intelligence and analysis about threats * Gain a greater understanding of the current threat landscape * Conduct improved risk management targeted to threats
