This session will illustrate the collaborative approach that instructional designers and advisors used to implement flipped advising as a teaching practice at the University of Florida. Participants will explore the development process, review technology that enhances the student experience, and adapt pedagogical strategies to engage students in the LMS.

Outcomes: Identify the key collaborators and steps in the development process for implementing flipped advising in an LMS * Leverage LMS tools to promote advising as a teaching practice * Apply pedagogical strategies to create authentic and collaborative assessments to enhance the advising experience
