Gaining Visibility into Your Wi-Fi Network: Usage, User Experience, Location

Thursday, November 01 | 3:15PM–4:00PM MT | Board 201, Poster Area, Exhibit Hall B-E
Session Type: Poster Session
Wireless usage is booming on campuses, and students' expectations for the wireless network have never been higher. Given constrained IT resources, artificial intelligence is being applied to WLANs to ensure a consistent and reliable user experience, automatically identify and fix issues, and deliver indoor location-based services with high accuracy.

Outcomes: Learn why we decided to transition to a cloud-based wireless infrastructure * Lean how (in not too technical terms) how AI works in our wireless network * Identify how these advances can be harnessed to better meet the needs of our students
