Join us for an overview of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and whether any existing institutional data governance and privacy practices, such as FERPA compliance, can be leveraged for GDPR compliance. We will review whether the GDPR caused a ripple or a tsunami for higher education. We will also discuss the steps universities have taken to come into compliance with the GDPR, including lessons learned from the panelists.
