How Davidson College Reduced Its Identity Management Burden with Modern IAM
We will explore how Houston Community College, the fourth largest community college in the United States, tackled its identity management burden with a modern IAM implementation. Learn how HCC automated the full identity life cycle of its dynamic and fluid user population of more than 140,000 students, staff, faculty, and external users—who often hold multiple affiliations and move in and out of active enrollment—and also streamlined the large quantity of ad hoc access requests generated by visiting students, professors, and the external community who frequents the college's public computer labs. Additionally, we'll delve into how HCC was able to deeply integrate its IAM solution with PeopleSoft to meet the unique requirements of its student information systems, HR, and IT infrastructure teams.
Outcomes: Learn how peers in higher education are tackling identity management challenges to increase security and IT efficiency * Identify use cases and best practices for managing ad hoc access requests with workflows * Understand how modern IAM meets the needs of SIS, HR, and IT infrastructure teams when integrating with PeopleSoft
