IT Procurement and Supplier Management Community Group Session (open to all)

This meeting will focus on the unique challenges and opportunities associated with higher education sourcing, purchasing, and ongoing supplier management related to information technology goods and services in all of its continually evolving categories (software, SaaS, cloud computing, hardware, services, etc.). Specific discussion topics will include those related to: Issues involved in blending the corporate interests of IT suppliers with the unique needs of higher education institutions; How to formulate a common position we can all take to IT suppliers; Funding and cost sharing strategies; and Implementation and deployment strategies. Participants will share experiences, best practices, and formulate consensus positions on supplier issues.
