IT professionals at Indiana University have created and sustained a volunteer effort to provide leadership skill-building events and networking opportunities to the campus community. This session will include a brief history, followed by concrete examples of identifying leadership development needs, creating programs, and evolving the IT leadership community.
Outcomes: Learn how to create an IT leadership community led by volunteers at your institution * Collaborate across the institution to provide continuing leadership skill-building opportunities * Demonstrate the value to potential executive sponsors
