Leading the Evolution Toward NGDLE from an Instructional Design Perspective

Wednesday, October 31 | 4:15PM–5:00PM MT | Board 311, Poster Area, Exhibit Hall B-E
Session Type: Poster Session
How can a university committed to its LMS move toward principles of NGDLE? We will explore the process our team undertook to engage with key stakeholders (especially faculty!) on this question. Underpinned by critical instructional design, our process moved institutional understanding of the LMS and implemented specific design and technological changes.

Outcomes: Gain a deeper understanding of NGDLEs and the role instructional design can play in their development * Identify stakeholders in the NGDLE discussion and explore how to engage them in design and development process * Reflect on other institutional experiences and learn how to connect to broader NGDLE community
