This session covers a strategic approach to risk management, using a "string-of-pearls" approach in Information Security, that relies on continuous assessment of Institutional and Departmental strategic plans to promote a seamless integration of security protocols that address competing Institutional needs against a dynamic industry landscape governed by multi-directional regulations.
Outcomes: Participants will be able to: 1. Learn to use Institutional strategic plans as a planning model for short and long-term risk management strategies. 2. Learn ideas about how to create a sense of transparency without compromising the confidential nature of information security.
