IT organizations across all segments of higher education are faced with the continual challenge of balancing innovation with operational effectiveness. Fundamental changes across society, higher education, and technology are forcing us to rethink the role of information technology in service to today's college or university. How do we move beyond the perception of IT as a utility and position it as a strategic differentiator? We will explore strategies for IT transformation, using Penn State as a case study.
