Mentorship is best when it's mutually beneficial. Understanding the connections you make and your influence on your employees (even as students) continues paying dividends long after they move on to new opportunities. How can you create work relationships that are mutually supportive throughout your entire career? We will present an example.

Outcomes: Identify opportunities for leadership at all levels of the organization and develop a workplace that supports contributions from everyone * Consciously decide to maintain professional relationships to the benefit of all involved * Move beyond traditional mentor/protege relationships to a more egalitarian approach to leadership development
