Stop Replicating the Classroom: Augmented Reality for Workplace and Education

Wednesday, October 31 | 12:30PM–1:30PM MT
Session Type: Breakout Session
Education and talent development professionals need to move beyond what we currently do, see, and hear to the potential of Augmented Reality. AR can provide real-time, accurate information available in context and on-demand where and when it is needed. It’s time to rethink “training” and “learning” to improve success rates.

Outcomes: Participants will be able to 1. List opportunities for augmented reality in learning and training. 2. Given an educational or training scenario and working in groups, identify, assess, and propose AR solutions to utilize. 3. Using the same scenario, predict efficiencies for training individuals, improving access, safety and productivity.
