Last fall, Kennesaw State University conducted a study to determine the cost of delivering online education. An in-depth analysis related to cost of online course and faculty development, technology and infrastructure, support services, and administrative services was conducted. Results were used to identify efficiencies and address affordability concerns.

Outcomes: Articulate the need for understanding the cost of online education, as well as the methodology for collecting cost data * Explore efficiencies that may exist on your own campus as a result of a cost study * Analyze the implications of a cost study on the university and on student affordability
