Session Type: Breakout Session
Delivery Format: Interactive Presentation
Solving problems isn't enough. In order to build an impactful, transformative IT organization, you need to have people who will take the time to listen and really understand the motivations and passions of your constituents. We often talk about relationship building, but it truly is the cornerstone of how we should be thinking about our organizations and their place within higher education. This session will discuss not just the importance but also the methods and strategies to help people embrace this concept.

Outcomes: Identify ways to help foster better listening and relationship building within your organization * Identify groups and individuals across the institution to target who may feel underserved or that they aren't being heard * Learn how to best enable this focus with all levels of the organization
