Virtual reality offers immersive experiences for students, providing active learning experiences not possible in a traditional classroom. The University of Louisiana at Monroe has established a VR classroom with the HTC VIVE kit for use by faculty and students as well as K𔃉12 teachers and students in surrounding parishes.

Outcomes: Identify specific examples of VR integration into university curriculum * Identify classroom designs that complement the inclusion of VR * Appreciate how a VR classroom can be used for university engagement with the local K–12 community
