Due to continuous technology change, the carrots we dangle to increase engagement of women (and men) in STEM careers are outdated assumptions and not representative of today's IT. There needs to be a complete overhaul, a to-the-studs demolition, on how we market and sell STEM as an industry.
Outcomes: Understand the current state of technology industry need for sustainability * Learn how you can directly impact the effort to rebrand and reintroduce technology as a career choice * Grasp the importance of advocacy and spreading the message * Teach others about the current condition and share knowledge
