Top-down, Bottom-up, Middle-out: Establishing a Learning Analytics Fellows Program

Establishing a data-informed campus-citizenry requires collaboration amongst administrators, faculty, departments and support-units. In this presentation, we discuss a Learning Analytics Fellows program that empowers faculty to use Student Informationn System's data to conduct scholarly research about student behavior and performance, and the choices they make on the pathway toward graduation.

Outcomes: Participants will have had the opportunity to: 1. Assess the value of adopting our LA model at their institutions 2. Identify strategies for furthering the use of LA on their campuses 3. Determine the resources required to establish a data-informed, collaborative culture aimed at improving student success
