John Carroll and Gannon universities have both embarked on student success initiatives. In this session, we will discuss improving retention (by as much as 5%) using data analytics/visualization. JCU will share info on its First in the World grant. Gannon will share how engagement is a key driver of retention.

Outcomes: Understand the primary factors driving attrition among students today * Identify which factors are affecting which student populations * Utilize data and predictive modeling to intervene and retain students
