Emerging holographic VR simulation technology delivers nursing simulation at a fraction of the cost of traditional health care simulation modalities. At San Diego State University, we partnered with Pearson and Microsoft to explore the efficacy of holographic virtual simulation through the HoloLens to increase skills, knowledge, confidence, and motivation to learn.
