The University of Notre Dame could have enabled campus-wide Google Gemini services with a flick of a switch, but preparing faculty, staff, and students for University-endorsed AI takes more than just a toggle! This seismic shift in technology affects each group uniquely, and deploying it takes a careful approach to product management, messaging, stakeholder management, and user education. Join us to learn how and why the University of Notre Dame chose to partner with Google for its first campus-wide AI deployment; how to do infosec due diligence with a tech giant; how to comprehend an n-dimensional matrix of feature, license types, and products to understand who gets what; how to manage the many stakeholder perspectives involved when deploying generative AI to students; and how to craft messaging and user education materials to help each constituency achieve responsible innovation with AISession. We will include facilitated discussion and live polling to help participants discover what is most important in helping their campuses navigate this moment of tremendous change and opportunity.
