Advancing Research and Scholarship through Collaboration
The Coalition for Networked Information (CNI), a joint initiative between EDUCAUSE and the Association of Research Libraries (ARL), fosters the use of information technology to advance scholarship and education. Over 200 organizations representing higher education, publishing, information technology, scholarly and professional organizations, foundations, and libraries and library organizations comprise CNI’s membership.
In this talk, CNI's new Executive Director Kate Zwaard will discuss how CNI’s work fosters key connections and collaborations that are critical for navigating the challenges facing research, scholarship, and higher education. She will provide an overview of current initiatives, including the development of an artificial intelligence (AI) future scenarios toolkit and workshop series. Zwaard will also explore, and solicit feedback on, CNI’s possible future programmatic priorities such as cybersecurity, infrastructure, accessibility, and more.
