Northcentral Technical College (NTC) has embarked on a transformative journey to embed artificial intelligence (AI) into its academic programs through the AIM Framework: Active Learning with AI, Industry-Inspired Experiences, and Mapping to Competencies. This session will outline how NTC's structured approach not only enhances student engagement and critical thinking but also aligns educational outcomes with current industry practices. Attendees will gain insights into the development and implementation of AI POWER guidelines (Awareness, Impact, Purpose, Optimal Integration, Well-planned implementation, Evaluation, Reflection), designed to facilitate ethical and effective AI integration into curricula. The presentation will encompass practical strategies for incorporating AI tools across diverse disciplines to ensure that students acquire the requisite competencies for success in a technology-driven workforce and aims to provide a replicable model for institutions seeking to navigate the complexities of AI adoption in higher education.
