Always Be Experimenting: Innovative Methodologies that Reduce Survey Fatigue

Tuesday, October 28, 2025 | 9:45AM–10:30AM CT | EDUCAUSE Commons, Teaching & Learning Central, Poster Area
Session Type: Poster Session
Delivery Format: Poster
At our institution, surveys are a key tool for gathering generalizable insights across a large campus, but survey fatigue and declining response rates present ongoing challenges. In this session, we will share innovative strategies for survey creation, administration, and reporting that center the voices of students and instructors. Rather than focus solely on increasing response rates, we also examine non-response bias, topic relevance, and how to interpret results responsibly.
