A recent Gartner report highlighted the importance of collaboration across institutions of higher education for future survival. While we all want to collaborate (it’s one of the reasons we are at this conference) it’s hard to find the time to sustain ongoing collaboration amid the constant demands of our day jobs. Seventeen member schools from the Council of Independent Colleges of Virginia (CICV) decided that collaborating effectively is necessary for each institution’s success. Learn how they developed a shared vision for IT collaboration, repeatable processes, intentional discussion opportunities, and other tools to identify and develop programs to save money, share resources, and just have fun getting to know each other!
