CRM in Higher Ed: From Product Selection to Go-Live and Beyond (separate registration is required)
Implementing a Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) system in higher education is more than a technology project—it's a strategic initiative that touches recruitment, retention, alumni engagement, and student success. This interactive workshop walks participants through the CRM lifecycle, from selecting the right platform to launching it successfully and ensuring long-term value. Designed for institutions at any stage of their CRM journey, this session combines practitioner insights, real-world use cases, and actionable frameworks to guide cross-functional teams toward CRM success.
Outcomes of this workshop:
- Identify key criteria for CRM platform selection aligned with institutional goals.
- Understand change management strategies to drive user adoption across functional areas.
- Map the CRM implementation journey, including data governance, integrations, and communications.
- Explore post-launch strategies for CRM optimization and measuring impact.
- Develop a roadmap or checklist to apply at their own institution.
Note: Participants who successfully complete this preconference workshop will be eligible to receive an EDUCAUSE microcredential. To earn this digital badge, you must complete a brief workshop evaluation and share two key learning outcomes from your experience. All registered participants will receive an email on October 29 with instructions for completing these steps. Completion of both is required. To learn how to accept and make the most of your microcredential, visit the EDUCAUSE Microcredential website.
