Wednesday, October 29, 2025 | 4:00PM–4:45PM CT | Meeting Room 208 B, Level 2
Session Type: Breakout Session
Delivery Format: Presentation/Panel Session
As generative AI transforms higher education, the University of Texas at San Antonio is taking a strategic, student-centered approach to designing an integrated AI ecosystem—one that prepares all learners for an AI-powered world. In this session, we’ll share how centering the student voice has become a cornerstone of our institutional AI strategy, from the development of peer-led initiatives like the Student AI Partner internship to the creation of student-facing resources, pulse surveys, and collaborative learning experiences. Learn how we’re building capacity across students, faculty, and staff through intentional cross-unit partnerships and co-designing practices that ensure our AI efforts are ethical, future-focused, and grounded in the lived experiences of our students.
