EDUCAUSE Rising Voices Live! Behind the AI Stack—A Candid Conversation on Institutional Innovation

Wednesday, October 29, 2025 | 2:15PM–3:00PM CT | Meeting Room 104 E, Level 1
Session Type: Breakout Session

AI is everywhere in higher education—but how it’s being implemented varies widely. In this special live recording of EDUCAUSE Rising Voices, two educational technologists from different institutions sit down for a candid conversation about their unique “AI stacks”: the tools, trainings, policies, and workflows shaping AI adoption at their universities.

We’ll compare what’s working (and what’s not), unpack how our institutions are supporting faculty and staff, and explore the different ways we’re experimenting with generative AI in the classroom and beyond. From custom-built trainings and hands-on faculty labs to centralized toolkits and grassroots exploration, this session invites you behind the curtain of real-world innovation.

Whether you’re building your own AI stack or just trying to keep up, you’ll leave with practical ideas, thoughtful reflections, and a better sense of where higher ed is headed next.
