Since time immemorial women have gathered in circles to share their feelings, challenges and experiences and to compassionately listen to one another. These circles have allowed them to nurture healthy and strong communities. Many communities of color are being led by women who have been creating bridges of solidarity throughout different communities by leveraging the trust created in those circles. During this session we will explore how women in academia can create their own healing circles.
