The majority of currently enrolled college students have grown up surrounded by technology—they are true digital natives. These students are accustomed to seamless online experiences informed by the services and apps they use in their personal lives. Unfortunately, many encounter a very different digital experience when applying to and enrolling in college; these students navigate systems that often predate their births, with confusing overlapping features, limited accessibility, and poor mobile support. This session will outline how one institution sought to evaluate, outline, and evolve their students' digital experience, moving toward a modern and seamless structure that can serve as a blueprint for other institutions.
