How can institutions make better decisions about technology priorities—especially with limited resources and growing demands? This session shares how Yale Library developed and matured a scalable IT governance model rooted in frameworks like ITIL, Agile, DevOps, and project management. Presenters will walk through the model’s structure, key roles, and outcomes, and share practical lessons on aligning IT work with mission, engaging stakeholders, and supporting innovation. While developed in a library context, this adaptable approach to IT decision-making offers value for IT leaders and teams across higher education.
