The New England Conservatory of Music (NEC) is a small, independent conservatory in Boston with approximately 800 students and a growing Expanded Education division serving early childhood, K-12, and adult learners. NEC has implemented Jenzabar’s J1Web and Financial Aid solutions as a part of a multi-year plan toward workflow transformation and a streamlined data ecosystem. Challenges included parallel projects with major systems, a lean IT team, a period of unusual turnover in end user offices, and a lack of functional redundancy within departments. Learn how NEC positioned J1 within its portfolio and created a “single pane” for student information and interaction, satisfying our functional, timeline, and budget requirements with a strategic mix of existing and supplemental resources.
